Die Cutting/Foiling/Embossing/Debossing/Spot UV and much more.
Die Cutting is the process used to cut out shapes from sheets of paper using a cutting die. The cutting die is made from plywood with the cutting template laser cut into it. Metal cutting rules are then bent to the same shape as the template and inserted into the plywood to create the cutting tool/die. This die is fitted to our machine and effectively stamps out the desired shape.
Benefits of die cutting:
We offer conventional die cutting, perforation, scoring and kiss cutting of any shape you require, with great accuracy and efficiency for large quantities. Popular products include: folders, packaging, stickers and any bespoke shapes you may wish to devise.
Foiling The first part of the process is to create a metal foiling block from your design, which is then heated on one of our foiling machines, where the foil is transferred to the desired areas on the sheet. There are various foils we always have in stock, such as black gloss, silver, copper, gun metal grey, gold, clear and holographic. However, there are so many more colours and options to choose from in both gloss and matt options, so if you have something in mind we are highly likely to be able to achieve your desired result.
Benefits of foiling:
Foiling adds an attractive and elegant finish to make your product stand out and your brand more memorable. Popular products include: invitations, stationery, packaging, brochure covers, folders, and any bespoke products you may wish to create.
Embossing involves an embossing die, which is a metal plate with your design on it, being pressed against the surface of the sheet to leave a raised impression. Embossing can be used on its own or be coupled with printing and/or foiling.
Benefits of embossing :
Embossing adds dimension and luxury to ensure your product is visually prominent and unique. Popular products include: stationery, packaging, brochure covers, folders and any bespoke products you may produce.
Debossing involves a metal die, which is a plate with your design on it, being pressed against the front of the sheet to leave an indent. This can be used on its own or used in combination with printing and/or foiling.
Benefits of debossing :
Debossing adds a unique dimension and quality to your product. Popular products include: stationery, packaging, brochure covers, folders and any bespoke products you choose to create.
Spot UV involves applying a varnish to a specific area of a design, such as a logo or part of an image. The varnish gives the area a shiny gloss appearance, while enriching the colour underneath. It adds a premium finish that has multi-sensory impact.
Benefits of spot UV:
Spot UV adds a quality, high visual impact result that will make your product stand out. Popular products include: stationery, packaging, brochure covers, folders and any bespoke products you may have in mind.
